Pastor Sergio M. Acedo is an Ordained Bishop in the Church of God (Cleveland, Tennessee). He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Pastoral Studies from Patten University and a Master of Divinity with an emphasis in Ministerial Leadership from the Pentecostal Theological Seminary. He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Ministry degree at the Pentecostal Theological Seminary.

Together with his wife, Pastor Koel Acedo—an ordained minister and full-time educator who holds a Master’s Degree in Education from the University of the Pacific—and their two daughters, Abigail and Elizabeth, they faithfully serve as the Lead Pastors of The Word Church in Stockton, California.

Pastor Sergio and Pastor Koel are committed to leading their community toward becoming fully devoted disciples of Jesus Christ. Their vision is to equip believers to go into the world as anointed, Holy Spirit–empowered ambassadors of the Kingdom of God, carrying the Gospel with boldness, compassion, and transformational impact.
