Dr. Sean S. O’Neal 

Sean O'Neal was elected Director of the Ministry of Evangelism during the 2024 Church of God International General Assembly. He leads the department’s development of strategies, tools, and implementation of personal soul-winning, church planting, church health and revitalization, empowering pastors and churches for sustainable growth, and innovation and development of systems ensuring long term effectiveness and productivity for Great Commission Ministry.

Bishop O'Neal served as Regional Administrative Bishop for the Church of God in California-Nevada (2018-2024) and Arizona (2014-2018). His extensive ministry background includes serving six years on the International Executive Council of Eighteen, leading churches to significant growth as senior pastor, planting three churches, serving as state youth and discipleship director, state evangelism director, urban missionary, and church consultant.

Dr. O'Neal earned degrees from Lee University (BA), Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (MA), and Westminster Theological Seminary (DMIN).
